The New Year MOC Winter Competition is set to bring a flurry of creativity and fun to the community! Mark your calendars for January 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at W. Broad St, Glen Allen, VA, just a short drive from Short Pump, VA. This event is a celebration of winter and an opportunity for families and individuals to showcase their artistic talents in a friendly competition.
What’s the Buzz About?
The New Year MOC Winter Competition invites participants to unleash their imagination by creating their favorite “Winter” scene as winter blankets the area. Whether you adore polar bears or dream of epic snowball fights, this is your chance to build it all! The event runs from January 5 through February 2, 2025, giving you ample time to craft your masterpiece. Registration is required from January 5 through January 25, and it comes with some cool perks. Each registration includes:
- One 8 x 16 baseplate to kickstart your creation.
- A free small tub of bulk parts to gather additional materials.
- A 20% discount on one minifigure in-store.
You can pick up your baseplate and redeem discounts at your convenience during the registration period. Remember, all discounts must be redeemed and can’t be combined with other offers.
Show Off Your Skills
Ready to show off your MOC (My Creation)? You can bring your creation in for pictures anytime between January 12 and February 2 at 5:00 PM. Winners will be announced by February 9, so there’s plenty of time to get that winning build ready!
Requirements for Submission:
- Use the provided 8 x 16 baseplate.
- Include at least one Minifigure of your choice.
- Submit your MOC by the deadline of February 2, 2025.
- Registration costs $8 per submission, and don’t forget to have an account with a valid email address.
Prizes Galore
The competition features multiple age categories, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to shine:
- Ages 5-7
- Ages 8-12
- Ages 12-16
- Ages 17+
Each winner will receive $25 in store credit added to their account. If you have multiple participants, each one needs to register separately.
